Now I have TWO perfect grandkids!

My daughter and son-in-law have gifted my husband and me with the world's cutest grandson, JR! He is just as perfect as his older sister, Kissy. I can't wait to hold him and kiss him and stroke his fur the wrong way. I didn't get to be at this birth because it was just financially impossible, but we will make it up to him, hehe. I will have to upload some pics of those two because they are just THE cutest kids in the whole damn world.

Being a grandparent rules! If I'd have known grandkids were this much fun I would have had them first

Kissy and JR are MY GRANDBABIES!! They just happen to be your offspring. How could they not be perfect with an Oma and Opa like me and your dad?

We are trying to figure out how to get you here. Just be patient and tell Mike to stop getting into it with mom.

Congrats! Gratuliere! Johnny laughs at me when I talk on the phone to the grandbabies because he says I have a different voice for them. Ah well, being an Oma is great! I love my Schätzle, beide.

You're right, grandchildren are the greatest! So full of wonder and amazement. My gand daughter recently turned 2. She's just the most beautiful thing I've ever laid eyes on. Don't get to see her nearly as much as I would like, but I quess that's the way it goes. Hopefully son and daughter in law will move back to Louisville soon so the wife and I can spoil her properly.

My daughter and family lived with us for the last year and a half, so Johnny and I are very familiar to Kissy and Bubba. They are so used to us being home and loving on them and being able to run to us when Mommy and Daddy were mean to them. *I'm sure Kissy and Bubba would say it was being mean

* A couple of weeks ago they moved back to Texas and I am desolate. It is way too quiet, and I keep listening for little footsteps. Johnny misses them so much, they always ran straight to him when he got home from work and 'helped' him take off his shoes etc. It tears me to pieces when my daughter calls me and the kids cry because Oma and Opa aren't there with them. Maybe I should start drinking heavily, think it would help?
